Have you ever wondered about the soul of your brand? What it says about you and your organization? Welcome to an episode that unravels this and more. We delve deep into the importance of a brand being more than just a logo or a catchy tagline. It should be a true reflection of who you are, an entity that speaks volumes about what you stand for. It's a fascinating conversation that redefines the concept of brand identity and its crucial role.

In the same breath, we shine a spotlight on the current political climate in America. We bring to the table a critical analysis of how the justice and legal system is being weaponized, and the ripple effect it has on our society. This isn't just about politics, it's about how the unique American brand is under threat and the repercussions it could have on us all. So join us, as we encourage you to think about the power of your own brand and how it can be a force for good, especially during these testing times. This episode will certainly provoke thought, spark conversations and hopefully inspire action.

Speaker 1:

You're listening to Give Zero, where everything matters, but your feelings, howdy ho, friends and neighbors. It's ya, buddy JB. Yeah, I need to talk a little bit, it's time. Have you ever noticed that your memes are fact-checked by men who think they can breastfeed? Yeah, now your host who gets absolutely zero? Fox, joey Bruno. Yeah, hi, y'all. Hi, y'all doing, hi, y'all doing. It's ya, buddy JB.

Speaker 1:

Host of Give Zero, america's number one third rate podcast over these, you know, between the Purple Mountain Majesties, under the spacious blue skies that is this here, america, glad to be back with you, have the crud. So if I sound extra cruddy, I apologize. Not gonna do rituals tonight because I don't have my black coffee. Believe it or not, I'm drinking a Coca-Cola or, as we say in the south, a Coke-Cola. I got my Coke-Cola, I got my Coke-Cola. So, yeah, but you know let's do it Just cause we're family. So I'll try to do this. So if you got your whiskey, wine, gin, vodka, cold beer, warm beer, whatever you got, what you want to do, I've got German friends. They mix their beer with, like Dr Pepper and soft drinks, coca-cola, coca-cola's. They say it's a thing, just okay. Whatever you got Zima, white Claw, that's fine too, if you want to. You know what does it white claw taste like? It tastes like television static with someone screaming a fruit flavor from the other room. You just grab that up. Or if you got something, something kind of special and you want to roll that thing up and fire that monkey up and partake with this. You know what more party? Let's do this on the count of three. We'll go one, two, three and I'll sip this here, coca-cola or see if it makes my throat feel better. One, two, three go. Good stuff and fizzy, it's very fizzy. Screws a little plastic cap back on the plastic bottle. I'm gonna cheap way to. I don't even let him having a cup, I'm just that guy right now. And people that perform musicians and stuff the singers, people on the radio, you tend not to drink soft drinks because you don't want to get the burps when you're on the air because that's, you know, not cool. But everything I've got is Jack, my chair feels weird, everything just feels wrong. But I'm taking the old, you know, algae meds or whatever. So I've had three people in the hospital at work but with pneumonia, so you know, crud going around. So y'all be careful out there.

Speaker 1:

I wanted to get on the mic, get this out in front of you guys real quick the, the trillion dollar question right now. I want to know what is your brand B R A N D brand brand? Let's have a quick business lesson. So when people put together an organization or a business or they're getting started in business or you know stuff like that and God love them, I've been. I've been entrepreneurially thinking in that mindset for most of my life. There's been times that fail me miserably, but there's times it served me quite well and I've been very happy with it. And thank you, lord, for looking out for stupid people and children. So but I watch these people.

Speaker 1:

I call I call it being in Lucy and Ethel mode, where they just go and they we're going to get some business cards and we're going to get some t-shirts. Let's get t-shirts and we're going to put a sign out there and we're going to do this thing that we love doing and we're in business. Okay, you're in a hobby is what you are. Okay when you're doing that, because the belly of a business, the stuff that the public doesn't see there's just a lot of grunt work in there and it's not the romantic side of we're going to get us. We're going to get us a, an embroidery machine. Or we're going to make cups in our basement and we're going to do this on the kitchen table we're going to make. This is my passion.

Speaker 1:

Well, there's another wrong following your passion. Get it in your skull. If you don't love what you do, you're not, you're not, you're not, you know, probably not living your best dream. That's not to say that you know. If you're, if you're, if you're digging ditches for a living and it feeds you and that's and you're good with that, well, there's no shame in that game. Don't, don't take me wrong, but if you're going to strike out on your own, you need to. You need to, you need to love the, the work. That is the job if you're going to do that Part of doing that.

Speaker 1:

Logo aside, logo is just a thing, but ultimately, what is your brand? And so a brand is, without getting too technical into it, it's the personification in presence that is you and your organization. Okay, if your brand is, for instance, you make skateboards, well, and it could be cool to do this, but you know, being the Fortune 500 CEO type with the, with the Armani and a really nice tie it, it may not fit the brand too well. Okay, now it's cool to do things you know in in opposition to, for stark opposition, to make a, a, a kitsch kitsch statement to do and that and that can be quirky and fun it really can be but at the end of the day, your brand needs to, your brand needs to speak for you, it needs to speak on behalf of itself. And it is not a logo, it is not a cartoon character, it is not the product that you have, it's not, not the address of the business. You know locations, everything, location, location no, it's. The brand says this and I'm going to get. I'm going to get to this.

Speaker 1:

So, and this is what I want to talk about, the American brand is a skew, it's tarnished and that bothers me, for instance, when I look at this Israel situation and we want to talk about Hamas. Israel has been an ally of these here United States very long time and we have been one for her. So it doesn't look good on the brand that, knowing that they got jumped on over there, in light of our very own 9 11, where we are very terrorist conscious in this country, or used to be, we used to be. How America as as a whole as what is projected outward, ie our brand. How there can be a caucus in the democratic side of things, it'll hand Omar and just the regular squad bunch up there to leave AOC. How there can be an outcry for Hamas Doesn't fit the brand. And right, wrong and different. It could be Zimbabwe somewhere, it doesn't matter, it doesn't have to be Israel.

Speaker 1:

When someone's jumped on, we as a brand don't like bullies. Now you can piss one and tell the lie about occupation and all this stuff at the West Bank and bother. Bother guys are stripping bad, yeah, whatever. Anybody that wants to take time to read a history book knows better. But that's okay, because people are stupid. They're going to let CNN do their talking for him. I get that. But at the end of the day, knowing nothing, being flat footed in everything, israel sitting there on a Saturday afternoon minding their own damn business, and all of a sudden people jump the border and rocket start flying and people start getting killed in their homes and everything else, and so on and so on, and Israel starts to punch back because they're being beaten on. Well, yeah, suddenly rallying for the guys that through the first punch, it's just not very American, it's not, it's not our brand and it bothers me.

Speaker 1:

There were times in this great nation when we knew what we stood for, when it was about mamas and apple pie and fairness and real equality, not this fake crap that's out there now. We knew what a woman was. We knew what a first amendment meant and the second amendment meant and let's be honest with ourselves, it ran a little better Second in time when we thought that it was a government of buying for a people for people and that the good guys were out to get the bad guys. You could trust the good guys, our federal agents, sees like that, fbi, cia, etc. There was that time. And now we look at an FBI that weaponized itself and used a FISA court to create false documents to try to send one president up a river.

Speaker 1:

Well, at the same time, finding out here just recently that they have the current president they've had him on the radar for the past 15, 20 years, even as a vice president knowing is every move, everything he's done, the money, the foreign contacts and everything else, because at the end of the day, god knows what's been sold out to China, russia and other things by this president. He's not the only one, but that's the subject that you were. But at the end of the day, knowing that that was allowed to happen by that same law enforcement agency, because ultimately what they've got is they've got blackmail on the president themselves you will do as you are told or we will share this with the world. The same FBI that took money and gave it to big tech so that they would not talk about certain things, including with the White House, and to dash and hide information about elections and laptops and COVID, and to keep a narrative story alive, while every American, whether they paid attention or not, it's screwed no one that there's a southern border that's wide, open, hamas or not, god knows how many criminals are in this place now that are ready to do a mass event where people will die. How is that our brand? How is that our brand? A media that doesn't look into problems and questions, and it used to be. That was their man. That's what you tuned in for to see what they truly uncovered today, so that we, the people, could take care of and check upon what is supposed to be of and buying for us in Washington DC. How is that, as our nation becomes so soulless as a people, that taking a check to parrot and say what you're supposed to say and make the moves you're supposed to take. That that's become more important than taking care of our country. It has by many. It has by more than many.

Speaker 1:

I'll leave you with the idea that, sad as it is, one of the biggest tactics that someone uses in psychological warfare whether it be by the one doing the hurting or is being hurt is you dehumanize them. Take away what gives them the spirit to be who and what they are. You see it all the time. Every mechanism like this by naming some guy that puts on a swimsuit and swims on a girls team, you make him the female athlete of the year, woman of the year. Whatever you want to do, it dehumanizes women. We've torn down statues. We've done every social train wreck you can think of would become lawless by hating on cops, defunding the police.

Speaker 1:

If you've been watching the Trump trial, you realize that, oh my God, it's just a matter of politics. The justice and legal system are now weaponized and you dehumanize America. You destroy her brand, who she is, what she is, her identity, just like an enemy in combat. Once you can make them a monster or people start not believing in it as something that's worth saving or worth having. You can inflict any damage or hurt you want to, because it's not a thing anymore. It's not even a person, it's not even an entity, it's not even a country anymore.

Speaker 1:

What's wrong with leaving the borders open? What's wrong with destroying her economy? What's wrong with doing anything like that? It's just America a borderless ideal by a bunch of people that thought that they could run their own country and their own government and in the history of mankind. Maybe that seemed like a pretty silly idea and notion to begin with, because at the end of the day, they just want you to bow to the altar of their power, and you can't do that in the land where people have the power. Now I ask you yourself personally what's your brand? I'm JB for Give Zero. Good luck America.
